Asian markets traded mostly lower as concerns over the European sovereign debt troubles continue to erode investor confidence.
At the local front, FBM KLCI fell about 10 points within the first half an hours’ trading but the Index gradually picked up in the afternoon when seeing some regional markets traded with gains. The Index finished at 1,233.86 lost 1.36 or 0.11 %. Daily FBMKLCI Average was 1,231.00 lost 8.23. Total Volume increased by 4 mln to 773 mln.
Market sentiment also picked up from its doldrums with the Oscillator climbing to finish at -97.26, gained 464.38 from the starting point. The Average recorded a loss of 408.22.
At the end of the day, MS5(Blue) of the Daily MSO fell to -388.47 lost 178.26. MS10 edged higher to -298.46 but MS20 sank to -208.53.

In the MSO, MS5 eventually succumbed to selling pressure and fell below MS10. Market sentiment is technically confirmed in a stage of doldrums. The sliding MS20 further confirmed that it will take a longer time to regain market confidence.
