Daya Materials Bhd has secured a charter contract from Norway's Technip Norge AS to provide a vessel and offshore services in the North Sea and North Atlantic regions.
It said on Wednesday its sub-subsidiary, Daya OCI (Labuan) Ltd was appointed to provide a second offshore subsea construction vessel on a long-term charter with the range of services.
"The charter is for a period of 100 to 175 days per year for three years, commencing in 2014 with options to extend further up until 2020.
"The estimate value of the charter ranges from RM100mil to RM176mil, depending on the actual utilisation," it said.
