Conclusion: Asian stock markets mostly lower after advancing for few days. Japan was down by 1.35%, Singapore 2.44% but Hong Kong up 1.59%.

KLCI was dragged by numbers of major stocks such as Sime, Genting and Resort. Sime plummeted by 75 sen after announcing its loss forecast.  KLCI ended at its lowest point at 848.43 lost 17.71 points. It is expected the Index will go down further to 841 before any technical rebound. But, still, tonight’s US market will play a big role in the Index movement.

Today, market sentiment was very bad with MSO falling from the starting hour to almost the end. Only the last minute buying that lifted the indicator from -170.37 to -143.90. Fortunately, total volume was only 396 mln. The light volume should also be affected by the new Bursah Trading System which showed some messy through out the whole session.

Meantime, stocks in Europe were dropping and US Index future fell.
