Conclusion: Asian stock markets mostly lower despite of the gain of 172 points of Dow Jones last night. Japan was down by 1.00%, Hong Kong 0.58% but Singapore eked up 0.19%.

Sentiment in the local market was sluggish with KLCI tumbled to as low as 843.57. Again, only last minute buying of Index-Link counters that pushed the Index to close at 846.86, a  loss of 0.67 points. MSO was also falling all the times and ended at -39.33.

KLCI’s support is now at 843-838, resistance 848-851.

Meantime, report shows both U.S. futures and European stocks were edging higher.
