Faber Group Bhd is pursuing jobs in Abu Dhabi, which it sees as a promising market for its integrated facilities management business.
According to managing director Adnan Mohammad, the group has tendered for “several projects”, of which some of the awards would be announced in the next one to two months.
“The combined value of these projects can be substantial,” he said Thursday after the company’s fourth-quarter and full-year ended December 31, 2008 results briefing.
It aims to double overseas contribution to revenue this year from last year’s 5%.
The group recently announced that it had secured contracts worth close to RM66 million to provide civil, mechanical and electrical maintenance services for low cost houses in Madinat Zayed and Liwa, Abu Dhabi.
