KLCI followed its Asian peer traded lower after Dow Jones overnight fall of 186 points. The Index lost 6.23 pts to 913.61. Heavyweights Genting Bhd, Sime Darby and Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB) dragged the benchmark index.
Local market sentiment was also dampened by the overnight US market with investors took chance to lock in profit. The Intra-Day Oscillator managed to edge higher from the starting point but failed to sustain and ended at -264.22 gained only 26.19 pts when compared with -288.41. Average Volume decreased from 3.89m/mn to 1.63 m/mn.
