Malaysia Market – End of the Day

Asian stocks were steady on Tuesday; profit-taking was well contained but Singapore market gained impressively by nearly 2%.
FBM KLCI reversed from yesterday’s downswing and moved higher to make yet another high at 1,174.01. The Index ended at 1,172.38 gained 15.95. Total Volume increased by 136 mln shares to 1,123 mln shares.

The Key Indicator (Blue) of the Daily MSO Chart hooked up sharply to +349.71 gained 156.10 representing a hike of 81% from yesterday’s +193.61. 20MAV continued to edge higher but 50MAV fell slightly.

Conclusion
Today’s market has shown yet another strong performance in terms of indices but unfortunately, volume didn’t increase accordingly.
Today, the breath of Second Board has narrowed down as there are only 72 gainers but 56 losers. Look like 2nd liners were having a one-day show on stage. Let’s see what happen on August 3, the actual date of the merger.
Share price of Lioncor was motivated by AmResearch’s positive comment on Parkson and added 2.5 sen with high volume. Its immediate resistance is around 0.53. This is a tough hurdle to cross.
MSO says market has decided to move higher but cautiousness remains whilst the Key Indicator zigzagging upwards. (Constructed and Shared by Smartbiz)
