At the local front, FBM KLCI crawled higher in the afternoon session but remained in red at 1,168.01 lost 3.27 or 0.28%. Total Volume increased 21 mln to 519 mln.
Market sentiment started in weak note and remained weak for the rest of the day but the Oscillator managed to end off low at -303.91 lost 4.57 from the starting point. The Average recorded a loss of 316.98.
The Key Indicator (Blue) of the Daily MSO Chart fell deeper to -192.75 lost 33.18. MS20 sank to -73.38 but MS50 edged higher to +76.52.
ConclusionMarket couldn’t find any impetus to move forward, instead, the overnight sharp fall of Dow Jones added more worries to investors.
MSO confirmed market weakness as MS5 and MS20 all fell in red. Market takes time to recover.
