NEW DELHI, April 19 (Bernama) -- UEM Construction Sdn Bhd has signed a deal with India's leading real estate developer Opus Properties Ltd (India) to embark on major infrastructure and building construction projects.
UEM Construction, a wholly-owned subsidiary company of UEM Builders Bhd, had set up a 50-50 joint venture (JV) company with its Indian partner to carry out various projects in India, said a joint press statement.
The proposed joint venture company will begin its operations with "Danat-A-Pearl", a gated community encompassing residential, commercial and entertainment facilities near Delhi, sprawling over 500 acres.
UEM Builders has a strong international presence in countries like Abu Dhabi, India, Indonesia, Singapore, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. -- BERNAMA
