Vastalux Energy Bhd said there is currently no plan for any units within Shapadu Group to take over the Malaysian oil and gas services provider via an injection of assets or an issue of new shares.
Vastalux is in early talks to buy as much as 50 per cent of Shapadu Energy and Engineering Sdn Bhd, the company said in a statement late yesterday. -- Bloomberg
