Malaysia Stock Market – End of the Day

Technically, Market sentiment remained strong and profit taking was well absorbed. Sentiment will remain steady till New Year mode set in, next week.

Asian stocks rose on Thursday after a successful bond auction in Portugal eased fears about the euro zone's debt crisis and boosted European and U.S. stocks. (Yahoo)

After 5.00pm, Asian major markets ended higher with Japanese market up by 0.73%, China 0.22%, Hong Kong 0.47% and Singapore 0.18%.

At the local front, FBMKLCI was seen lingering on high plateau most of the times. The index ended off high at 1,571.56 (+5.07/0.32%). Total Volume was 2,704m (+231m).

Market sentiment receded from strong opening again like yesterday but the Oscillator managed to stay well above the neutral line, this time. Again, last minute buying pulled it to end at +1,133.30 lost 1,438.53 when comparing with its starting point. The Average recorded a gain of 976.87.

Conclusion

In the MSCD, K% Line (yellow) recorded as +443.22 (+96.99), D% Line (red) +286.32 (+55.26) and the Histogram +150.35 (+1.64).

After today’s trade, both key indicators hooked up and the Histogram printed a slightly longer bar.

Technically, Market sentiment remained strong and profit taking was well absorbed. Sentiment will remain steady till New Year mode set in, next week.
