Selangor Makes New Offer To Four Water Concessionaires In State (ext)

SHAH ALAM, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- Selangor has made a new offer to takeover 100 per cent of the shares of each of the four water concessionaire companies in the state, Menteri Besar Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said.

The concessionaires are Puncak Niaga (M) Sdn Bhd (PNSB), Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SYABAS), Konsortium Abass Sdn Bhd and Syarikat Pengeluar Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (SPLASH).

"The state government is offering a 100 per cent takeover of the shares of the companies at a price of RM64.62 for each PNSB share, RM20.78 for Syabas, RM5.95 for Splash and RM9.39 for Abass," he told a media confernce here Thursday.

Khalid said the more than RM9 billion offer, includes taking over all assets and liabilities of the companies, including bonds.

Damn Selangor..Khalid, do you made any negotiations between you and Rozali before?

I don't think Puncak Niaga will agree with the offer. Selangor made many mistakes to takeover PNSB and SYABAS before including manipulate "Tabung Budi" issue.

Aku tak fikir 9 bil is enough. And aku tak fikir state's finance akan maintain for the next years. They'll face big financial problem after this.

What about KDEB? They're suffered selepas dipaksa untuk membayar tanggungan air percuma yg dibuat oleh kerajaan negeri Selangor.

Adakah selepas ni semua syarikat konsesi air yg diambil alih oleh Selangor akan berhadapan dengan masalah kewangan yang sama?
