KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 28 (Bernama) -- Bina Puri Holdings Bhd chalked-up a pre-tax profit of RM14.6 million for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2010 from RM11.5 million recorded in 2009.
Revenue jumped to RM1.23 billion, from RM788 million posted previously, it said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia Monday.
For the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2010, Bina Puri chalked up a lower pre-tax profit of RM3.36 million, from RM4.6 million registered in the same quarter 2009, while revenue rose to RM371.3 million from RM258.6 million previously.
The better results were mainly due to the improved performance in the construction division attributable to progressive profits recognised from projects in progress.
