KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 17 (Bernama) -- Daibochi Plastic and Packaging Industry Bhd's pre-tax profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2010 fell to RM5.467 million from RM6.878 million in the same quarter of 2009.
However, its revenue rose to RM75.462 million from RM54.580 million previously, it said in a statement on Thursday.
For the twelve-month period, its pre-tax decreased to RM23.826 million from RM27.141 million in the same period of 2009.
Its revenue, however, rose to RM267.749 million from RM221.788 million previously.
Daibochi said the increase in turnover was mainly due to increasing orders from local and overseas clients.
Looking ahead, its managing director, Thomas Lim, said the company would perform better in the current financial year than last year.
"We are in negotiations with customers to implement viable options for an all-win solution," he said.
