Malaysia Stock Market - Sentiment Index

Local sentiment traded cautiously with the intra-day Oscillator slid from its high but ended off low in the positive zone at +401.00; lost 761.56 when compares with its starting point. The Average recorded a loss of 650.46.

At the end of the day, %K Line (yellow) of MSCD recorded as -33.08 (+124.40), %D Line (red) -29.84 (+54.44) and the Histogram +6.17 (-20.39). Both indicators hooked up slightly and the Histogram printed another shorter bar to complete its round top formation.

The MSCD shows that overall sentiment was plagued by external issues and remains hesitant even after the Sarawak Election. Low-liners will continue treading water while waiting for the lead of the key index.

FBMKLCI

FBMKLCI capped by the Middle Bollinger band and closed about six points higher. The fact that the index failed to break out from Friday’s high is a shortfall for its recovery even after the Sarawak Election. The index should be moving sideways with downside bias for a while.
