Malaysia Stock Market - Sentiment Index

Asian stock markets were mixed Monday in light Easter-holiday trade, with Tokyo giving up early gains as buyers lacked conviction despite some improved earnings results.

Local sentiment lost steam even the key index stayed in positive zone whole day. The intra-day Oscillator slid into the red and ended at -297.63 lost 737.63 when compares with its starting point. The Average recorded a loss of 127.86.

At the end of the day, %K (yellow) of MSCD recorded as +19.75 (-26.83), %D (red) -0.32 (-10.21) and the Histogram +16.36 (+0.93). Both indicators slid slightly but the Histogram printed yet another positive bar.

The MSCD shows that market sentiment was directionless while waiting for clearer lead. Low-liners will be traded in volatility and gains will also evaporate fast.

FBMKLCI

FBMKLCI printed a gravestone today further confirms its weakness. So long as the 1,517 level remains intact the index will move in tight range 1,517 to 1,540.
