Asian stock markets were mostly higher Friday, though shares in China were choppy on persistent concerns about the country's economic outlook, while the Tokyo market struggled to gain traction.
Local sentiment turned bearish again despite of a strong index. The Intra-day Oscillator slid but last minute buying pulled it to end off low at -335.31; lost 292.41 when compares with its starting point. The Average recorded a loss of 320.14.
At the end of the day, %K (yellow) of MSCD recorded as -143.07 (-32.18), %D (red) -123.59 (-15.73) and the Histogram -12.53 (-1.74). Both indicators almost standstill but the Histogram printed a longer negative bar.
MSCD shows that overall market sentiment remains weak with mild selling pressure on Low-liners.
FBMKLCI
FBMKLCI capped by the 1,550 resistance and finished at 1,548.69 today. All indicators indicate that the index will attempt to test its previous height at 1,565 next week. Support has been raised to 1,543.
Both FBMACE and FBMSCAP were still under pressure.
