Malaysia Stock Market - Sentiment Index

Chinese stocks led Asian equity markets higher on Friday on hopes inflation will ease soon, though the euro's overnight rally fizzled, with Greece's deal with international lenders seen as only a short-term fix for a long-term crisis.

Local sentiment cheered on the recovery of regional market progressed positively with the Intra-day Oscillator surged to end at its day-high at +355.02; gained 365.25 when compares with its starting point. The Average recorded a gain of 55.89.

At the end of the day, %K (yellow) of MSCD recorded as -180.43 (+42.95), %D (red) -174.29 (+18.42) and the Histogram -18.00 (+2.97). Both indicators edged higher and the Histogram printed a shorter negative bar.

MSCD shows that overall market sentiment is improving. However, as both indicators were trapped inside the wedge channel the upside movement will still be quite challenging. Low-liners should continue to attract interests.

FBMKLCI

FBMKLCI edged up 1.47 points and closed at 1,564.66 today. The index will most probably be tepid and trapped in tight range, 1,556 to 1,567.

FBMSCAP rebounded today but ended below the 12EMA. The 12EMA is an immediate resistance to break through before the 20MA. Based on the higher volume, the index has the tendency to test the 20MA.

FBMACE moved higher today but was capped by the 20MA. Indicators show that the index has the tendency to break through this immediate resistance if market can keep its volume intact or increasing.
