The Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system will be a significant driver for the construction sector, says OSK Research Sdn Bhd.
It has maintained an "overweight" rating on the sector.
In a research note today, it said apart from Gamuda and MMC being the main beneficiaries of the KL MRT, KimLun Corp could potentially supply tunnel lining segments for the underground portion.
The final alignment of the 51-km Sungai Buloh-Kajang (SBK) line, of which 9.5 km will be underground, was unveiled last Friday.
