Malaysia Stock Market - Sentiment Index

Asian stock markets rose on Tuesday after Wall Street shares climbed for a third straight session, but pare gains as U.S. futures slip nearly hundred points again.

Local sentiment opened in high notes but followed the key index lost steam with the Intra-day Oscillator slipped into the red but closed off low at +51.89; gained 1,662.98 when compares with its starting point. The Average recorded a gain of 640.13.

At the end of the day, %K(yellow) of MSCD recorded as -378.23 (+185.09), %D(red) -446.97 (+87.00) and the Histogram -163.79 (+58.13).

Both indicators charged even higher with %K cut %D decisively. The Histogram printed another shorter negative bar.

Conclusion

Due to the fact that %K has cut %D decisively with increasing volume the bullish sentiment will continue even though profit taking might decelerate its strength temporarily. Investor will be seen nibbling on weaknesses.

(Morning Flash: Dow Jones lost 77 points last night)
