Ramunia close to India job (OSK)

Ramunia Holdings and its partners have emerged as the front runners to bag a USD190m contract to build up to 10 well platforms for India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC), according to sources. The contract from ONGC involves Ramunia’s partner SEW Infrastructure and is for development of WO-16 Cluster and SB-14. The two companies would also rope in Australia’s Worley Parsons but this remains unsubstantiated. Meanwhile, the proposed acquisition of a 56-acre fabrication yard in Pulau Indah from Oilfab SB, which is part of its plan to shed the PN17 tag, could be delayed due to certain structures on the fabrication yard requiring certificates of fitness. Other sources, however, quoted that Ramunia could lease the yard for a long tenure if the sales does not go through. (Financial Daily)
