Local sentiment progressed in weaker tone again today but last hour buying pulled the Oscillator ended at its day-high at +360.45; gained 557.94 when compares with its opening point. The Average recorded a loss of 287.55.

In MSCD, %K (Yellow) computed as -249.59 (-6.90), %D (Red) -238.30 (-3.94) and the Histogram -20.86 (+2.39).

Technical Analysis

After today’s trade, both indicators fell slightly but the Histogram continued its round-bottoming processing.

Market sentiment remains choppy but should be lifted by low-liners soon, based on Volume/Value reading. Today, market traded at a total volume of 3.59b shares but total value only worth about 1.79b ringgits. Record also shows that majority of the most active counters were done at less than 20 sen with extremely high volume.

In MSCD, though %K moved slightly down but remains above the support. The Histogram almost completed its round-bottoming process.
