Local sentiment reversed into a slumped as global markets were, by large, painted red due to the Greece turmoil. The Intraday Sentiment Oscillator stayed in the red for the whole session to end at -505.48; lost 408.72 when compares with its opening point. The Average recorded a loss 449.10.In MSCD, %K (Yellow) computed as -200.80 (-45.13), %D (Red) -215.41 (-18.70), %A -205.91 (-9.18) and the Histogram +13.45 (+0.29).
(Note: 100MA has been replaced by %A which is actually 54EMA. %A is a more dynamic indicator to gauge the mid-term sentiment movement.)
After today’s market, both key indicators reversed downwards but the Histogram printed a slightly higher positive bar.
Market sentiment will continue to lose strength as %K is going to cross both %D and %A due to continuous weaknesses. Any gain will be trimmed by profit taking as investors mostly refuse to hold substantial portfolio amid so many uncertainties.
