Sentiment Index - Malaysia Stock Market

Constructed and written by Smartbiz

Local sentiment plagued by worries about developments in Europe was choppy today. The Intraday Sentiment Oscillator was seen swaying up and down but ended off low at +156.96; gained 362.02 when compares with its opening point. The Average recorded a gain of 73.17.

In MSCD, %K (Yellow) computed as -47.92 (+22.01), %D (Red) -122.93 (+15.69), %A (Pink) -174.52 (+9.35) and the Histogram +68.12 (+1.72).

After today’s trade, all line indicators hooked slightly up and the Histogram printed yet another longer positive bar.

Analysis : Investors turn cautious today as the Greece Election will be held this weekend. However, continuous nibbling on blue chips and quality small-caps enables market to progress in positive mood.
