Major Asia stock markets gained in choppy trading Thursday,
as investors absorbed a mixed bag of local and offshore earnings reports.
Local sentiment opened in positive tone but receded just
an hour before the break. The Oscillator continued its downtrend to end at -352.10;
lost 609.60 when compares with its opening point. The Average recorded a loss
of 131.60.
After today’s trade, all line indicators displayed mixed signals but the Histogram printed yet another longer bar in the
negative zone.

Conclusion:
FBMKLCI weighted by key blue chips including Genting, Sime Darby
and UMW fell 11.18 point to 1,623.91 today. But, overall sentiment showed some
improvement with Loser beats Gainer by 448 to 274. Total volume is 1.15 million
shares.
In MSCD, %K bounced slightly up to stay just below the uptrend
channel. %D is marginally below %A.
As signal that sent out by %D is very vague I prefer to postpone
the conclusion on the mid-term forecast. Meanwhile, the bearishness is still
considered as short-term only. Nevertheless, some small-caps and low-liners
have become livelier today.
