Intraday
Oscillator: Market sentiment resumed some strength
as the key index gradually recovered from previous losses. The Oscillator lied
low most of the times but last minute buying pulled it to end at +77.11; gained
32.52 compared to its opening point at -44.59. The Average recorded a
gain of 27.50; improved by 178.89 points compared to -151.39 of the previous
session.
MSCD: After today’s market, %K continues to move higher and crosses
over %D. The Histogram printed its first bar in the positive zone after
submerging for more than two months in the water.
MSCD data are appended as below:
DATE | A_OSC | %K | %D | %A | HGM |
21/9/2012 | 10.78 | 118.90 | 142.64 | 124.56 | 0.61 |
24/9/2012 | 514.70 | 179.77 | 170.21 | 138.75 | 2.40 |
25/9/2012 | 73.04 | 163.36 | 163.01 | 136.36 | 1.99 |
26/9/2012 | 151.39 | 161.52 | 162.15 | 136.90 | 1.46 |
27/9/2012 | 27.50 | 132.45 | 148.10 | 130.93 | 1.96 |
LAST+- | 178.89 | 29.07 | 14.05 | 5.98 | 3.42 |
Conclusion:
Investors were treading water in low
volume today.
In MSCD, though %K has crossed over %D
again and the Histogram has completed its bottom-rounding process but the scare
participation casted doubts on the recovery. More confirmation is needed to confirm
the trend. Meantime, market base remains fragile.
