Intraday Oscillator: Market turned cautious while watching the "Superstorm" Sandy slammed onto the US coastline cities. The Oscillator slid all the way down at the backdrop of a positive index and finished off low at -179.86 lost 242.25 compared to its opening point at +62.39. The Average recorded a loss of 187.44; down by 186.92 compared to -0.52 of the previous session.

MSCD: After today’s market, %K hooked down but remains above %D. The Histogram printed a shorter bar in the positive zone.

Conclusion: MSCD shows investors were mostly sidelines as nobody knows how seriously the Hurricane Sandy will affect US financial conditions. Overall volume decreased to 1.1 billion shares with losses seen in small-caps and 3rd liners. Meantime, mid-term optimism remains intact.
