Sentiment Index - Malaysia Stock Market

Intraday Oscillator: Local sentiment was weak today at the backdrop of an easier key index. The Oscillator finished off low at -172.05 lost 148.28 compared to its opening point at -23.77. The Average recorded as -166.75; lost 52.22 compared to -114.53 of the previous session.

MSCD: After today’s market, %K continues to slopping downwards and the Histogram printed a slightly shorter bar.

Analysis: MSCD shows market sentiment remains under subdue and has no sign of recovery. The Histogram started to print its first shorter bar indicating a weaker trend was formed.

OSK said FBMKLCI needed to move above the immediate resistance of 1,654 pts, which it failed to break in the past three days to ease the selling pressure and get the rebound going....Supports remained at 1,647 pts and 1,635 pts. The sentiment might reverse if both levels were broken, likely in response to the overbought daily RSI and the “Upper Shadows”. Today, FBMKLCI finished at 1,648.58.
