Conclusion: Asian markets mostly edged higher with only Korea down by 0.02%. Japan gained 2.72%, Hong Kong 2.43% and Singapore 0.21%.

KLCI lost steam during the afternoon session and ended at 881.65 gained only 1.06 pts or 0.12%. Now its overhead resistances are 885, 889 and supports at 873, 868.

Market sentiment was weak with MSO galloped downhill for the whole session and settled -110.54. Buyers opted to sideline as global markets were volatile.

It is felt that market will be traded directionless till US market shows stabilization. Penny stocks except some news-driven counters will be quiet as the margins to take profit are very thin now.
