Conclusion: Stocks in Europe and Asia declined for a second day, led by commodity producers and financial companies on concern the deepening recession will erode profits. U.S. index futures fell. Japan down by 2.28%, Hong Kong 4.54% and Singapore 3.26%.

Local market was weak and quiet with KLCI fell as low as 877.78 but managed to settle at 883.09 lost only 0.97 pts or 0.11%. The Index will continue to be capped by its 5-Day Average which is 883-4 and 890 its 10-Day Average. Downside supports remain at 873 and 868.

Market sentiment turned from bad to worst with total volume only 509 mln shares which is about half of the volume traded a week ago. Today’s MSO was lying low all the time and settled at -228.

Market will remain cautious till US market shows sign of recovery.
