More demand for manufacturing products (ext: CIMB)

More manufacturers have reported rising demand for their products, a sign that things are looking up for the manufacturing sector. The most “positive signs” are in the electrical and electronics, and chemicals sectors, which have experienced rising orders from overseas in recent months, according to the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers. He, however, expressed cautious optimism when asked whether the slowdown had bottomed out.
