WCT Bhd, a Malaysian construction company, may be close to winning a “major” multibillion ringgit infrastructure project in Sabah, Maybank Investment Bank Bhd said in a report today.
The company has been awarded a so-called letter of intent for the contract, which may be related to the water industry, and when the order is official, it may double WCT’s RM2.2 billion (US$633 million) orderbook, Chu Wei Fen, an analyst at Maybank in Kuala Lumpur, said in the report. - Bloomberg
