Ahmad Zaki, Tanjung Offshore (CIMB)

Ahmad Zaki has emerged as the frontrunner to win a RM300m job to build a 300-bed hospital in Kuantan, Pahang for Universiti Islam Antarabangsa, sources said. It is understood that the authority is now at the final stage of awarding the project and the Trengganu-based construction outfit is likely to bag the job. (Financial daily)

Tanjung Offshore has won a RM110m contract extension by Petrofac (Malaysia PM-304) Ltd to supply a mobile offshore production unit (MOPU) for the Cendor field, Block PM-304.  The extended period is effective from Sep-10 to 2Q13.The MOPU is a jack-up drilling rig converted into an oil and gas production platform and would operate as a stand- alone oil and gas processing facility.
