Sentiment Index - Malaysia Stock Market

Constructed and Written by Smartbiz

Local sentiment followed regional markets receded further as Greece bailout delayed. The Intraday Oscillator opened deep in the red and slid all the way down to end at -2,089.72; lost 787.70 when compares with its opening point. The Average recorded a loss of 1,938.48.

In MSCD, %K (Yellow) computed as -291.63 (-299.32), %D (Red) -65.45 (-149.89) and the Histogram +6.00 (-58.02).

MSCD - Technical Analysis
After today’s trade, both indicators tumbled straight into the red and the Histogram printed another shorter bar in the positive area.

Market sentiment sank into total bearishness as %K has accelerated downwards in high velocity and printed a lower-low in the red. However, so long as the volume remains around two billion, low-liners will return to stage again. The entry point should be when %K reverses to cut %D from underneath.
