Intraday Oscillator: Market sentiment was affected by the sharp fall of the Dow and turned cautious today. However, small-caps were active as investors picked up valuable stocks. The Oscillator slid all the way from opening but finished off low at -332.01; lost 116.05 compared to its opening point at -215.97. The Average recorded a loss of 372.62; weakened by 138.44 points compared to -234.48 of the previous session.
MSCD: After today’s market, %K fell deeper to meet %D and the Histogram printed yet another shorter bar in the positive zone.
MSCD data are appended as below:
Conclusion: MSCD shows the market sentiment continued to have affected by weaker regional markets and turned cautious. However, trend cannot be confirmed as %K and %D are moving at the same level now. Also, so long as %D remains above %A, the uptrend is still in shape.
Hopefully, sentiment will recover once the key index has stabilized.
