Malaysia Market - Mid-Day Comments

12:30 Asian markets were not really excited by the rate cut of Fed and mostly edged up only slightly. Japan was down by 0.05%, Hong Kong up 0.65% and Singapore 0.82%  

Local market remained sluggish though KLCI was up by 9.54 points to 864.34. MSO showed better performance by staying in positive zone but failed to move higher. The Indicator ended at +19.72. Volume remained thin with only 169 mln shares traded.

It is hoped that penny stocks will follow the Index and move higher this afternoon.
