Malaysia Market – End of the Day



Conclusion:
Today’s market strength was not sustainable though Dow up by 62.21 points last night. Sentiment was dampened by its Asian peers as well as the retreat of CPO Future. Jan CPO Future traded below the 2,000 level and done at 1,900 down 100. KLCI finished off high at 927.62 gained 5.39 points or 0.58%.
However, today’s trade gave MSO new energy to hook higher from +90.39 yesterday to +106.27. As MSO is still staying above the uptrend channel, market will remain resilience.
Asian market mostly weaker with only Japan bucked the trend up by 1.74%. But, India tumbled by 7.25%, Hong Kong down 3.37% and Singapore 1.73%.
Meantime, report shows US Futures traded a bit lower but Stocks in Europe rally. Crude oil also higher due to freezing weather and higher storage demands by traders in anticipating shortage of crude oil.
