LCL Furniture secures contract from CIMB (BT)

LCL Corporation Bhd’s unit, LCL Furniture Sdn Bhd, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from CIMB Bank Bhd for interior fit-out works for the podium area of Menara Bumiputra-Commerce in Kuala Lumpur at a contractual sum of RM5.9 million.

In addition to the existing project of RM7.7 million from CIMB, the total aggregated contract sum amounts to RM13.6 million.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, LCL Corporation said the project was secured through a normal tendering process and is expected to commence immediately with completion by end June 2009. — Bernama
