OILCORP BHD’s subsidiary, Oilfab Sdn Bhd has been awarded the engineering, procurement, construction of topside and offshore hook-up and commissioning (EPCC) contract by Carigali-PTTEPI Operating Company Sdn Bhd.
The contract comprises the EPCC of Muda D Wellhead platform Topside for JDA Block B-17 Development, which is located in the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area.
“The value of the contract is approximately RM64 million,” Oilcorp said in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday. The contract commences immediately and is expected to be completed by the fourth quarter of calender year 2009, it added. — Bernama
