Intraday
Oscillator: Market sentiment was moderately weaker today. The Oscillator soaked
in the red to end at -155.17; gained 13.27 compared to its opening point at -168.44.
The Average recorded a loss of 201.83 improved by 75.68 when compared with -277.51 of
the previous session.
MSCD: After
today’s market, %K moved deeper into the red and the gap between %D and %A
became wider. The Histogram printed another longer bar in the negative zone.
MSCD data are appended as below:
| DATE | A_OSC | %K | %D | %A | HGM |
| 27/8/2012 | 126.71 | 118.52 | 92.77 | 78.87 | 14.68 |
| 28/8/2012 | 318.39 | 149.26 | 109.49 | 87.58 | 19.70 |
| 29/8/2012 | 48.64 | 133.78 | 104.98 | 86.16 | 21.52 |
| 30/8/2012 | 277.51 | 155.89 | 117.76 | 93.12 | 24.84 |
| 3/9/2012 | 201.83 | 162.95 | 123.99 | 97.07 | 27.66 |
| LAST+- | 75.68 | 7.07 | 6.23 | 3.95 | 2.82 |
Conclusion:
Market sentiment didn’t cheer by the record-breaking
index, today, but some low-liner gainers started to move into the Top Active list. Unfortunately,
chart shows market sentiment has already slumped into a mid-term bearishness
since two weeks ago. The broader market will take a longer time to recover from
weaknesses once %D fell below %A. Since then, any gain should be deemed as temporarily and profit taking will set
in fast due to lack of confidence.
