Malaysia Market - Mid-Day Comments

12:30 Asian markets mostly higher with only Singapore retreated from yesterday’s gains. Japan was up by 1.28%, Hong Kong 0.73% but Singapore down by 0.10%.

KLCI ended at 875.63 gained 9.17 points or 1.06%.

But, broader market indicator, MSO, was sliding from its starting point at +30.76 to end at +5.93. Gains of most counters were trimmed by profit taking. Volume was only 127 mln shares for the morning session.

Market should be flattish with some window dressing before closing.
